1. bite someone's head off 把某人臭罵了一頓
例如：
Don't bite my head off! Be patient. 别臭罵我！有點耐心好吧。
I'm very sorry I lost my tempter. I didn't mean to bite your head off. 不好意思我沒控制好脾氣。我無意罵你喔。
2. fall head over heels 對某人神魂颠倒、狂熱地愛上某人
例如：
I fell head overheels for her. 我對她神魂颠倒了。
3. hit the nail (right) on the head 一針見血
例如：
Terry hit the nail on the head when he said most people can use a computer without knowing how it works. Terry說大多數人們使用電腦卻不知道電腦如何工作的，真是一針見血。
4. sorehead容易被激怒的人，容易發牢騷的人
例如：
Don't be such a [sorehead]. 别這樣牢騷滿腹。
5. swelled head自我膨脹，驕傲自滿，自負
例如：
He got a swelled head after he won the prize. 他得獎之後就自我膨脹起來（自負）。
