分數的結構為：分子用基數詞，分母用序數詞；分子是1,分母用單數；分子大于1,分母用複數。（分母是2和4時，可用half和quarter代替）
eg . 1/5 one fifth ; 1/4 one fourth 或 a quarter ;
2/3 two thirds ; 3/4 three fourths 或 three quarters ;
1/2 one /a half ;2/5 two fifths
拓展：如果分數大于1,要用整數部分 and 分數”來表示。
eg. 8 3/5 eight and three fifths
百分數用“基數詞 percent”表示。percent無複數形式。
eg . 5% five percent ; 20% twenty percent
注意！
由“分數（或百分數） of 名詞”構成的名詞詞組作主語時，謂語動詞的單複數由of後面的名詞類别而定。
eg . Over sixty percent of the doctors are women .
超過60%的醫生是女性。
Three fourths of the students in my class are interested in English .我們班有四分之三的學生對英語感興趣。
Two thirds of the water on the earth is sea water.
地球上三分之二的水是海水。
小數中小數點讀作point,小數點前後都用基數詞表示。
eg . 5.6 five point six ; 0.7 zero point seven
7.83 seven point eight three
