the week after next 下下周
後天是明天的後一天，明天是 tomorrow，後天也就是 the day after tomorrow.
下下周也是同樣的道理，我們也要翻譯為下周的後一周，next next week 不符合英語的語法習慣，是中式英語。
next 指的是 next week，week一般會省略，而 after 表示在……之後，所以 the week after next 就是下一周的後一周，那可不就是下下周嘛。
下下個周一也可以說 Monday after next，下下個月就是 the month after next.

a month of Sundays 很久
not a month of Sundays 遙遙無期；不可能
month 差不多有30天，a month of Sundays 也就是30個周日，30個禮拜也是大半年的時間，所以 a month of Sundays 的意思是很久以後，常形容時間漫長。
在英語裡，這個短語的否定形式 not in a month of Sundays 出現得更多，意思是某件事你再等多久都不會發生了，強調一件事情發生的可能性極低。

倒數第二别說 last second
倒數第二
因為倒數第二緊挨着倒數第一，next 又表示緊随其後的，last 是最後的，所以倒數第二可以說 the next to last.
除此之外，the second to last 和 the last but one 也是倒數第二。
the second to last 可以這麼理解：
從後往前算的話，這是第二個，也就是倒數第二。倒數第三就是 the third to last，倒數第四就是 the fourth to last.
the last but one 可以這麼理解：
要是沒有另一個，這個就是倒數第一了，所以這個應該是倒數第二。
