大多數高考英語考綱詞彙集，隻列了單詞、詞性和詞義，沒有例句和辨析講解。筆者試圖在考綱詞彙的基礎上，給出例句或短語，并對個别重點詞彙作出講解、辨析，希望對老師的教學和學生的學習有所幫助。

　　知識在于積累。在沒有特殊原因的情況下，我計劃根據考綱詞彙，争取堅持每天講解幾個單詞，不斷更新。忙很了，也可能過幾天才能更新。

　　在講解過程中，錯誤在所難免，希望讀者在發現錯誤的時候，及時在評論區給予批評、指正。

　　grain n. [U]谷物，谷類 [C]谷粒：

　　Grain is used for making flour. 谷物用來做面粉。

　　Bring in every single grain. 顆粒還倉。

　　gram n.克。（重量單位）

　　Then they chose one gram for weighing water in a cubic centimetre.

　　然後他們将一立方厘米水的重量定為一克。

　　grammar n. [U]語法 [C]語法書：

　　Is grammar important when learning English?

　　在學英語的過程中，語法重要嗎?

　　grand adj.莊嚴的，雄偉的，顯赫的：

　　He lives in a grand house.

　　他住在一棟富麗堂皇的房子裡。

　　grandchild(pl grandchildren) n.孫子。

　　I wonder if my grandchild can solve the problem himself.

　　我不知我孫子一人可能解決那個問題。

　　granddaughter n. [C]孫女，外孫女：

　　Her granddaughter is lovely. 她的孫女很可愛。

　　grandma=grandmother n. [C]祖母，外祖母：

　　I’ve been to see your grandmother.

　　我(剛才)看你奶奶去了。

　　grandpa=grandfather n. [C]祖父，外祖父：

　　Grandfather won’t allow it. 爺爺不會允許這樣做。

　　grandparents n.外祖父（母）：

　　My grandparents live in Xuan Cheng.我祖父母住在宣城。

　　grandson n. [C]孫子；外孫：

　　Her grandson is kind to her. 她的外孫對她很好。

　　granny n.奶奶，外婆：

　　Look what granny’s bought you! 瞧奶奶給你買了什麼！

　　grape n.葡萄：

　　a bunch of grapes一串葡萄。

　　graph n.圖表：

　　He showed me a graph of their recent sales.

　　他給我看了一張有關他們最近銷售額的圖表。

　　grasp v./n.抓（牢），抓（緊）：

　　Make sure you grasp the rope with both hands.

　　一點要用雙手抓緊繩索。

　　The book slipped from his grasp and fell to the floor.

　　書從他的手裡滑落到地闆上。

　　grass n. [U,C]草，草地：Keep off the grass. 勿踏草地。

　　grateful a.感謝的，感激的：Doctor Wang has received hundreds of letters from grateful patients.

　　王醫生收到了百封向他表示感謝的患者來信。
