“讀懂”英語沒有？America's way of fueling itself

在“互聯網 ”為時代特征的今天的英語“教學”（if any at all），我喜歡也習慣在課堂上跟學生分享和必須回答的一個常規性問題，就是：你今天在非英語語言環境下的英語學習究竟是為了培養和獲得什麼英語的“語言能力”呢？

回答幾乎都是：能用漢語“懂”英語就是學習的目标。

中國所謂的英語學習或教學，是有“悖論”的：一是絕大多數學英語的學生其實學來學去都是沒有任何英語語言環境的，“學”的時候如此，想“用”的時候亦如此。一是我們卻又去以“教”學生一些隻有語言環境下才能用到的所謂“實用地道”的英語，并以漢語“學會”，漢語“理解”和漢語“記憶”為手段。

這真的就是中國多年來所謂的英語教學（if any at all）最大的“悖論”，或者叫“以子之矛攻子之盾”：用漢語去學去理解去記憶隻有在語言環境下才用得到的英語，一旦失去這些所謂“實用地道”的英語賴以生存的語言環境，學習有意義嗎？

所以，在非英語語言環境下一味的用漢語讓學生“懂得”英語，“記憶”英語實在是最坑爹的教學理念和方法！

一、讀讀下面的英語，你從中獲得的除了“我懂它的漢語了”的“能力”外，還過得什麼“能力”？

二、我“獲得”了下面的能“彌補”非英語語言環境短闆的能力

我“怎麼知道”這麼說英語的？“互聯網 ”時代，查英英字典啊？

“會說”英語：Okay.I got you.If the United States invaded Grenada,it waged a foreign war into the country.

2.to protect American nationals

“會說”英語：Okay.I got you.When the USA protects its nationals,it protects an American cituzen who lives outside the United States.

有了這樣的“語言能力”就不必在擔心“有沒有”英語語言環境了。
