不明确指代某個人某些人，某些事的代詞叫做不定代詞。不定代詞可以代替名詞和形容詞，沒有主格，賓格之分，在句中作主語，賓語表語，定語等。
不定代詞，根據不同的标準可以由若幹分類，分類如下。
一、按句法作用分類
指代作用：Everybody, everyone, everything, someone somebody something, anyone, anybody anything, no one, none, nobody nothing.
限定作用：Every， no
指代與限定作用兼有：Each other another either neither all both many,much some any few Little a few, no one.
二、按可數性分類：
可數：
Each every one another, either neither both many few a few, no one.
2.不可數：
Little， a little，Much.
3.可數與不可數兼有：
No all none some any other.
三、按構成分類
普通不定代詞
Every each one other.Another either neither, no, none all both many, much few little a few, a little.
2.複合不定代詞
some類：Someone somebody something.
any類：Anyone, anybody anything
every類：Everyone, everybody, everything.
no類：No one, nobody nothing none
