時間狀語從句（The Adverbial Clause of Time）用來表達主句動作所發生的時間。
在時間狀語從句中，除去表達意願（肯、願意）之外，一般不使用将來時态或表示将來的其他表現形式，而使用一般現在時或現在完成時代替一般将來時，用現在完成時代替将來完成時。

after, as, all the time, the entire time, any time, as often as（相當于whenever）,as long as, as soon as, barely…before/when, before, by the time (that),
directly, during the time (that)（朗文英語語法第43頁）, each time, every time (that)
(the) next time, even as, hardly…before/when, immediately, instantly,
no sooner…than, now (that), once, scarcely…before/when, since, so long as
the instant (that), the minute (that), the moment (that),
the day/month/week/year/morning/afternoon
the second (that), the first/second/third…/last time,
till, until, when, whenever, while, whilst等。
