examine與Check的區别

Examine與check都有檢查的含義，但還是有些差别。

作為動詞examine 與 check的區别是 examine 仔細觀察，嚴格辨明，如醫生診斷病人要檢查身體指标，而check是普通檢查。

如果你有鋼筆掉在地闆上，你應該說check the floor.

例如：I lost my pen, so I asked them to check the floor to see if it was there.

但如果要檢查地闆的狀況，就有用 examine。例如：

Please examine the floor and take notice of the water damage from the flood.
