春日登太浮山李傑波

天氣特别好的時候

在太浮山，能清晰地眺望

常德市像一個棋盤

縱橫交錯，正在下一盤很大的棋

而石門、桃源突出在群山間

小得像整齊的積木；澧縣、津市和臨澧

卻因為澧水交叉着平原

而生動許多

被春風熏得半醉的我們

每指一個地方，就說出有何人相熟，或相知

于是我們盡目力所及

辨認那人生活的位置，即使他早已離開人世

Taifu Mountain in the Spring

A fine day

on Taifu Mountain, one can enjoy a clear view

of Changde City, laid out like a chessboard

with crisscross lines while a big game is in play.

Stone Gate and Peach Garden stand out inside a ring of mountains

like two lego blocks; Li County, Tianjin City and Linli

look especially vibrant

because River Lishui flows through the plain.

We feel enrapt by the spring breeze,

and point out different places where we know of or know someone.

There we are, for as far as the eye can see,

zooming in at each person’s living quarter,

even if he has already left this world.
