作為老司機，空有黃段子的心，沒有黃段子的英文功底，因此隻好一番正經地給你們講講開車小知識。作為正在經受車考的磨難的苦逼，正是基礎掌握不好，科目三死得慘不忍睹。說實在的，很簡單，但是你沒遇過還真的就不知道，用廣東話講就是“淺水浸死人”。

Part 1

1. Gas<口> 油門 （Accelerator）

If you step on the gas when you are driving a vehicle, you will go faster.

vehicle[ˈvi:əkl] n. 車輛；交通工具

2. Brake刹車

Brakes are devices in a vehicle that make it go slower or stop.

devices[dɪ'vaɪsɪz] n. 裝置；設備

3. Clutch[klʌtʃ] 離合、

In a vehicle, the clutch is the pedal that you press before you change gear.

e.g.Put your foot on the clutch.

它還包含有離合器的意思

A device in a machine that connects and disconnects working parts, especially the engine and the gears.

e.g. The car needs a new clutch.

4. Shifter換擋器

A mechanical device for engaging and disengaging gears.

mechanical [mɪˈkænɪkəl] a. 機械的

5. Steering ['stɪrɪŋ] 方向盤

The machinery in a vehicle that you use to control the direction it goes in.

6. Dashboard['dæʃ.bɔrd] 儀表盤

The part of a car in front of the driver that has instruments and controls in it.

Part 2: Lights

1. High beams遠光燈

2. Low beams近光燈

（beam 在此處是 光線 的意思）

以上的表達為American常用，UK的常用表達是：

Full beam遠光燈

Main（dipped）近光燈 【也可以說 Half beam，但不常用】

夜間行車需要 turn on light時，一般是指近光燈，因此是Main。

dipped['dɪpt] 把（汽車前燈）的遠光調為近光

3. Indicator指示燈

Left indicator 左轉向燈

Right indicator 右轉向燈

4. Hazard lights危險報警閃光燈

Hazard['hæzərd] n. 危險，危害
