11月22日，第四屆世界媒體峰會在北京舉行。與會代表認為，全球媒體需要及時向受衆傳播真實、客觀、全面的抗疫信息，共同維護媒體權威性和公信力，共同佑護人類健康福祉。The fourth World Media Summit (WMS) was held in Beijing on Nov 22. The participants called on global media to share authentic, objective, and comprehensive information in the battle against COVID-19, and jointly uphold the authority and credibility of the media to secure the health and wellbeing of humanity.

【知識點】世界媒體峰會是由世界知名媒體機構倡議發起的高端交流平台，首屆峰會于2009年10月在北京舉行。促進各國媒體共同發展，是世界媒體峰會成立12年來始終聚焦的主題。新冠肺炎疫情起伏延宕，深刻改變了人們的生活，也深度影響了傳媒行業的發展。疫情給新聞報道工作帶來新的挑戰，也在倒逼整個新聞行業轉型升級。當前，專業新聞的重要性顯著提升，以5G、大數據、雲計算、人工智能、虛拟技術、元宇宙等為代表的信息技術，正深刻重塑着新聞業态。第四屆世界媒體峰會的主題為“疫情沖擊下的媒體發展戰略”，來自近100個國家和地區260多家媒體和機構的近400名中外嘉賓線上線下參會。峰會發表北京共識，為各國媒體合作應對挑戰、實現共赢發展、促進民心相通凝聚團結奮進的力量。
