南昌大學（南大，Nanchang University），創建于1921年，坐落于江西省南昌市，由教育部與江西省政府合作共建，是“雙一流”“211工程”重點建設高校。該校入選“中西部高校綜合實力提升工程”“國家建設高水平大學公派研究生項目”“卓越工程師教育培養計劃”“卓越醫生教育培養計劃”“國家級新工科研究與實踐項目”“國家級大學生創新創業訓練計劃”“大學生創新性實驗計劃”、深化創新創業教育改革示範高校、高等學校科技成果轉化和技術轉移基地、大學生科技創業實習基地、江西省首批大衆創業萬衆創新示範基地，是中西部“一省一校”國家重點建設大學聯盟成員，普通高校本科教學工作水平評估優秀高校，中國教育和科研計算機網江西主節點單位，中國下一代互聯網示範工程CNGI建設參與高校。

南昌大學其學脈可追溯自1921年創建的江西公立醫學專門學校和1940年創建的國立中正大學，1993年江西大學與江西工業大學合并組建南昌大學；同年，成為博士授予單位。2005年南昌大學與江西醫學院合并組建新南昌大學。

The history of Nanchang University can be traced back to the establishment of Jiangxi Public Medical School in 1921 and the establishment of National Zhongzheng University in 1940.
