1、interest作為“興趣”時用作不可數名詞，但可以加不定冠詞。例如：

2、interest作“愛好；引起興趣的地方”講時為可數名詞。例如：

3、interest 作“利害（關系）；權益；股份”講時，為可數名詞。例如：

4、interest作“利益”講時，常用複數形式。例如：

5、interest作“幫；派；同行者”講時，常用複數形式。例如：

6、interest作“重要（性）；重大”講時為不可數名詞。例如：
a matter of interest 一件重要的事情
