“usually”之外的9種說法，

1. Ninety percent of the time...

（八成時間）

2. Nine times out of ten...

（十有八九）

For example:

Ninety percent of the time, I make it to work on time.

（我八成時間都準時上班）

Nine times out of ten, I take the same bus to get there.

（十有八九我會坐同一輛公交車去那裡）

3. More often than not...

（多數情況下）

For example:

More often than not, I go to the gym before work.

（多數情況下，我會在上班前去健身房）

4. As a rule (of thumb)...

（按慣例）

For example:

As a rule I don’t eat fast food,

but since it’s your birthday….

（按慣例我不吃快餐的，不過既然今天是你生日……）

5. What normally happens is...

（一般情況下）

For example:

What normally happens is we start the meeting, and they join us when they can.

（一般情況下都是我們先開始會議，然後他們會在能來參加的時候再來）

7. Generally speaking...

（總的來說）

For example:

In general, it takes our supplier about 7 working

days to complete an order.

（總的來說，我們的供貨商要花費7個工作日來完成訂單）

9. By and large...

（大體上）

For example:

On the whole, I like my job.

（整體來說，我喜歡我的工作）

By and large, I thought his presentation was pretty good.

（大體上，我認為他的演講很出色）
