1、Every day is not Sunday

這個字面意思是“每一天都不是星期天”，星期天這天是幸運日，但是不是每天都這樣，所以意思就很明了了，就是“好景不常在”的意思。

2、Four eyes see more than two

這句話翻譯過來意思是“四隻眼睛看到的比兩隻眼睛的多”，也就是我們說的“三個臭皮匠賽過諸葛亮；集思廣益”的意思。

例句：

Four eyes see more than two. used especially of drugs or muscles that work together so the total effect is greater than the sum of the two ( or more).

三個臭皮匠頂一個諸葛亮。特别是用來指藥物或者肌肉，一起發揮作用，從而使整體效果大于兩個（或多個）的總量。

3、Content is better than riches

content除了“内容”，還有“知足，滿足”的意思，這句話的意思就是指“知足者常樂”。

例句：

As the saying goes content is always happy, but a few people can achieve this realm.

俗話說知足者常樂，但又有幾個人能達到這樣的境界。

4、Birds of a feather flock together

這句話翻譯過來就是“鳥的羽毛集中在一起”的意思，所以本意就是我們說的“物以類聚、人以群分”。

例句：

I'm not surprised these two are such friends; they are birds of a feather flock together.

這兩個人交上朋友我毫不奇怪，他們是一丘之貉。

5、Do as you would be done by

這句話我們經常會說，就是“己所不欲勿施于人”的意思，大家記住了嗎？

Always do to the others as you would be done by.
