第二、either 用于否定句表示全部否定。例如:I don't like either of the books. 這兩本書我都不喜歡。

第三、either 也可作副詞，意思為“也”，用于否定句句末。例如:(1) You are not a worker. I ’m not either. 你不是一位工人，我也不是一位工人。(2) You cannot sing. I cannot either. 你不會唱歌，我也不會。

第四、二者不同點。neither 表示否定含義，其反義詞是both“ 兩者都”，常構成“neither …nor …”句型，意思為“既不……也不……”；either 表示“兩者中的任何一個”，表示肯定意義，可以構成“either …or ”句型，意思是“或者……或者……”。知識縱深：這兩個句型謂語動詞要遵循就近原則。例如:(1)Neither you nor I like dancing. 你不喜歡跳舞，我也不喜歡跳舞。(2)Neither you nor LiMing is good at English. 你和李明都不擅長英語。(3)Either you or your sister must go with your mother. 或者你，或者你姐姐，必須跟你媽媽一起去。(4)Either you or he is wrong. 或者是你，或者是他錯了。
