Although it was snowing,it was not very cold.雖然下着雪，但并不很冷。
強調詞位置
用though時，可将強調的詞前置，但although不能。如：
Poor though he is,he is happy.雖然他窮，但過得很愉快。
Child though she was,the actress was drawing a crowd.盡管還是個孩子，這個女演員卻引起了人們的注目。（child前無冠詞a）
從句性質不同
although引導從句常指事實，而though引導的句子可表假設。如：
Lets start as arranged though it rains tomorrow.即使明天下雨，咱們也按預定的計劃出發吧。（假設）
He was not unhappy although he had to live alone.雖然得一個人生活，他毫無不快之感。（事實）
用作副詞
