step on it 開快點

floor it 把油門踩到底，提速，以最快的速度走

step除了腳步，還可以作動詞，意思就是踩。step on it裡的it指代的就是汽車油門。如果我們對司機說step on it，他就知道需要開快點了，類似的表達還有floor it，意思就是把油門踩到底。

例句：

We are going to be late for work ,could you step on it？

我們上班快遲到了，你能開快點嗎？

hit the gas 開快點

gas是汽油的意思,所以我們也可以把hit the gas理解為踩油門，所以hit the gas也表示開快點。趕時間的時候，我們可以直接對司機說hit the gas。

例句：

Hit the gas,the plane is about to take off.

開快點，飛機要起飛了。

slow down 減速

出門在外我們難免會遇上一些車速很快的司機，坐車時讓人膽戰心驚。用英語提醒他們減速，我們就要用到slow down這個短語了。

slow down有減速和放松的意思，如果想提醒司機開慢點，我們直接說slow down就可以了。

例句：

Please slow down a little,my daughter is feeling carsick now.
