更高級的自由之道不在加法，而在減法。

如果你僅僅提高了自己的能力，卻管理不了自己的欲望，你不會是個自由的人。

If you only improve your abilities, but you can't manage your desires, you won't be a free man.

信用卡提高了你的消費能力，卻可能讓你遠離财務自由；社交網絡提高了你的信息收集能力，卻可能讓你遠離心靈自由；搜索引擎提高了你的信息收集速度，卻可能讓你遠離思想自由。

Credit cards improve your spending power, but they may keep you away from financial freedom; social networks improve your ability to collect information, but they may keep you away from spiritual freedom; search engines speed up your information collection, but they may keep you away from intellectual freedom.

今天，高薪不快樂，高分學生不幸福，高官不安心，因為他們都在用太多的精力飼養他們的欲望。中醫說，在求不得和想得到之間，全是火氣。

Today, the staff with high salary are not happy, the high score students are not happy, the senior officials are not happy, because they are costing too much energy to feed their desires. Traditional Chinese doctor says that on the way to feed the desire, it's all fire.

一個人的自由之路無非有兩條，一條是給能力做加法，一條是給欲望做減法。提高能力讓你能承擔更多責任從而獲得更多自由而降低欲望則讓你甯靜下來，讓生命變輕，把自由還給自由。

There are only two ways for a person to be free. One is to level up ability, the other is to control desire. Strengthening your ability allows you to take on more responsibilities and thus gain more freedom. while controlling your desire will calm you down, lighten your life burden and give freedom back to you.
