On the occasion of the international women's day on March 8, at the invitation of the United Nations (Geneva) radio and Television Center, Chinese astronaut Wang Yaping, who is on a mission in space, recently recorded a video and extended holiday greetings to women all over the world on the space station. "May every female compatriot pick the brightest stars for their beloved life and career in their own starry sky".

在“三八”國際婦女節到來之際，應聯合國（日内瓦）廣播電視中心邀請，正在太空執行飛行任務的中國航天員王亞平日前錄制視頻，在空間站向全球女性緻以節日祝福，“願每一位女同胞在自己的星空中，為所愛的生活和事業采撷最璀璨的星”。

Wang Yaping said in his video speech that space will never change its environment and lower its threshold because of the arrival of women. A large number of flight data show that there is no significant difference in adaptability and working ability between men and women in space. Women can complete the same training and examination as male astronauts with high standards. Moreover, many physical and psychological characteristics of women can give play to their advantages in space and complement male astronauts, which is very helpful to successfully complete the challenges brought by long-term stay in narrow space.

王亞平在視頻緻辭中說，太空從不會因為女性的到來就改變它的環境、降低它的門檻。大量的飛行數據表明，兩性在太空中的适應能力和工作能力并無明顯差異，女性可以高标準地完成與男性航天員同樣的訓練、考核。而且，女性的很多生理、心理特征能在太空中發揮優勢，和男性航天員形成互補，這對于成功完成狹小空間長期駐留任務帶來的挑戰非常有幫助。

She said that with the progress of aerospace technology and the development of commercial aerospace, women's participation in space flight has become more and more common. I hope all girls with space dreams can protect their vision of going to the sea of stars, "one day, unconsciously, you look up and find that the dream is within reach. I believe that this is not an unreachable dream. As long as we work hard, we will be able to touch it."

她說，随着航天技術的進步和商業航天的發展，女性參加太空飛行已經變得越來越普遍。希望所有懷揣太空夢想的女孩守護好自己走向星辰大海的願景，“總有一天，在不知不覺中，你擡頭一看，發現夢想已經觸手可及。我相信，這不是一個遙不可及的夢，隻要我們努力，就一定能觸碰到。”

Wang Yaping stressed that despite the differences in nationality, nationality and occupation, women all over the world are making the world full of vitality, harmony and warmth through their own efforts. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank every female compatriots for their selfless dedication and wish every female compatriots to pick the brightest stars for the life and career we love in their own starry sky!" She said.

王亞平強調，盡管國籍、民族、職業各不相同，但全世界的女性都在通過自己的努力，使這個世界充滿活力、更加和諧溫馨。“借此機會，我要感謝每一位女性同胞的無私奉獻，也祝願每一位女同胞在自己的星空中，為我們所愛的生活和事業采撷最璀璨的星!”她說。
