Early one morning the wind blew a spider across the field.

A thin, silky thread trailed from her body.

The spider landed on a fence post near a farm yard...

一天清晨，一陣風把一隻蜘蛛吹過了田野。

一根細細的、絲一般的線從她的身體裡面拖了出來。

"Neigh! Neigh!" said the horse.

"Want to go for a ride?"

The spider didn't answer.

She was very busy spinning her web.

"Moo! Moo!" said the cow.

”哞！哞！“牛叫道。

"Want to eat some grass?"

”想一起去吃些草嗎？”

The spider didn't answer.

She was very busy spinning her web.

"Baa!Baa!" bleated the sheep.

”咩！咩！”羊咩咩叫道。

"Want to run in the meadow?"

“想一起去草地上跑跑嗎？”

The spider didn't answer.

蜘蛛沒有回答。

She was very busy spinning her web.

她正忙着織網呢。

"Maa! Maa!" said the goat.

“嘛！嘛！”山羊說到。

"Want to jump on the rocks?"

“想一起到岩石上跳跳嗎？”

The spider didn't answer.

蜘蛛沒有回答。

She was very busy spinning her web.

她正忙着織網呢。

"Oink! Oink!" grunted the pig.

“噜噜！噜噜！”豬咕哝道。

"Want to roll in the mud?"

“想一起去泥地裡打個滾嗎？”

The spider didn't answer.

蜘蛛沒有回答。

"Woof!Woof!" barked the dog.

“汪！汪！”狗吠道。

"Want to chase a cat?"

“想一起去追趕貓嗎？”

The spider didn't answer.

蜘蛛沒有回答。

She was very busy spinning her web.

她正忙着織網呢。

"Meow! Meow!"cried the cat.

”喵！喵！“貓叫道。

"Want to take a nap?"

”想去打個盹嗎？”

The spider didn't answer.

蜘蛛沒有回答。

She was very busy spinning her web.

她正忙着織網呢。

"Quack! Quack!" called the duck.

”嘎！嘎！“鴨喊道。

"Want to go for a swim?"

”想一起去遊泳嗎？”

The spider didn't answer.

蜘蛛沒有回答。

She had now finished her web.

她已經織好了網啦。

"Cock-a-doodle do!" crowed the rooster.

”喔，喔，喔！“公雞鳴道。

"Want to catch a pest fly?"

”想一起去抓害蟲蒼蠅嗎？”

And the spider caught the fly in her web...just like that!

蜘蛛已經在她的網上抓住蒼蠅啦，看！就是這樣！

"Whoo? Whoo?" asked the owl.

"Who built this beautiful web?"

The spider didn't answer. She had fallen asleep.

It had been a very, very busy day.

”嗚？嗚？“貓頭鷹問道。

”是誰織了這麼美麗的網？“

蜘蛛沒有回答。她已經沉沉睡去了。
