一、as/though/although/while的區别：

as引導的讓步狀語從句要倒裝；though可倒裝也可以不倒裝；although/while不能倒裝。

怎樣倒裝？從句中的表語、狀語或動詞原形置于句首，若表語是單數名詞，前置時要省略冠詞。

1、（though/although） he is a child, he knows a lot 其中he is a child為主系表結構，去掉冠詞 a ,提前表語child。變成 Child （as/though） he is, he knows a lot.

2、（though/although） I like much, I won’t buy it.Much 其中 I like much為主謂結構，much為狀語，提前狀語much變成much（as/though） I like, I won’t buy it.

3、（though/although） he might Try, he could not find a job其中he might try為主謂結構，沒有狀語，提前動詞try變成Try （as/though） he might, he could not find a job.

while 也可以引導讓步狀語從句，意為“盡管”，語氣比though/ although弱。

While I like its color, I don’t like its shape. 我盡管喜歡它的顔色，但不喜歡它的形狀。

注意：as/though/although/while都自帶“雖然...但是...”的屬性。所以不能與but 連用。但是可以與yet連用。

二、whether… or… ,（不管是 …還是…）“ whether … or not （不管是 …還是不）

1、Whether you play or watch TV, you mustn’t disturb me.不管你是玩，還是看電視，總之不能打擾我。

2、Whether you believe it or not, it is true.不管你是相信，還是不相信，它都是真的。

三、no matter 特殊疑問詞 = 特殊疑問詞-ever

注意：“no matter 特殊疑問詞”隻能引導讓步狀語從句；而 “特殊疑問詞-ever” 既可以引導讓步狀語從句，而且可以引導名詞性從句（主語、賓語、表語、同位語從句）

1、Whatever you say is of no use now 其中Whatever you say為主謂賓結構，是系動詞 is 的主語從句。

2、However late he is every day，his mother always waits for him 等同于No matter how late,his mother always waits for him.其中However late he is every day和No matter how late he is every day。都是主系表結構的讓步狀語從句。
