1）注意There is a前後兩兩可以連讀。

2）注意near our前後可以連讀，其中near中的r因為後面緊跟元音，所以要發音。

3）注意如果讀得快的話，town和every前後也可以連讀。

4）注意was a前後可以連讀。

5）注意big中的g會發生爆破音的消失現象。

There were hundreds of people there. My wife and I were at the race. Our friends Julie and Jack were there, too. You can see us in the crowd. We are standing on the left.

1）注意hundreds of前後可以連讀。

2）注意My wife and I前後兩兩可以連讀。

3）注意were at前後可以連讀。

4）注意at中的t會發生爆破音的消失現象。

5）注意and Jack中and中的d會發生爆破音的消失現象。

6）注意如果讀得快的話，us in前後可以連讀。

7）注意如果讀得快的話，standing on前後可以連讀。

There were twenty cars in the race. There were English cars, French cars, German cars, Italian cars, American cars and Japanese cars.

1）注意如果讀得快的話，cars in前後可以連讀。

4）注意and Japanese中and中的d會發生爆破音的消失現象。

It was an exciting finish. The winner was Billy Stewart. He was in car number fifteen. Five other cars were just behind him.

1）注意It was中的t可以作爆破音的額消失處理，也可以和後面的w前後一起連讀作[tw]。

2）注意was an exciting前後兩兩可以連讀。

3）注意Stewart中的第一個t要濁化為[d]。

4）注意was in前後可以連讀。

5）注意Five other前後可以連讀。

6）注意just中的t會發生爆破音的消失現象。

7）注意behind him中的d可以作爆破音的消失處理，也可以直接與後面的him作擊穿連讀處理，即d和-im直接連起來讀，h不發音。

1）注意said中的d會發生 爆破音的消失現象。

2）注意Don't中的t會發生爆破音的消失現象。
