CIE的Pure Mathematics 共有1-3，高老師今天給同學們講解P2的重點和難點。

P2這個單元是P3的子集，A-Level最終結算成績不用P2，但是AS階段結算成績可以是P1(占重60%) P2/M1/S1（三者選其一，占重40%）。大部分同學是A2階段結出總成績，那麼數學模塊可以是P1（占重30%） P3（占重30%） S1（占重20%） M1（占重20%）；或者是P1（占重30%） P3（占重30%） S1（占重20%） S2（占重20%），P1（占重30%） P3（占重30%） M1（占重20%） M2（占重20%）。

也就是說，即使AS階段考的P2是不計入總成績的，但是，還是有必要考的，學好P2等于學好P3的一大半。

A-Level：P2考綱分析：

CIE數學測試Pure Mathematics2要求在學習P1的基礎上學習這本書。書本知識點一共有11個章節，按内容來分類一共6個部分。這個11個章節也作為P3的考點。

第一章代數有關于絕對值函數的等式與不等式的求解，需要對P1的函數圖像掌握的前提下。第二個章節對數與指數函數，需要掌握其圖像是反函數的性質，并且運用法則進行計算。第三個章節三角函數，在P1的基礎上，新增正割，餘割和正切函數，在化簡恒等式時需要掌握他們之間的關系式。第四章與第五章的微分與積分，仍然是考試的難點，三角函數、指數函數與對數函數的求導與積分是考試計算的重點，考生務必熟練記住轉換關系式。第六章數值求解，運用新穎的疊代法求解精準的值，需要考生能夠很好的把握題意，攫取有用的信息點。

A-Level：P2大綱：

1、Algebra代數

重點：Identify the quotient and remainder.Use the factor theorem and the remainder theorem.

難點：Divide a polynomial by a linear quadratic polynomial

易錯點：Use relations such as ∣a∣=∣b∣a⊃2;=b⊃2; and ∣x-a∣<b a-b<x<a b in the course of solving equations and inequalities.

2、Logarithmic and exponential functions

重點：Use the laws of logarithms.Understand the definition and properties of and

難點：Use logarithms to transform a given relationship to linear form,and hence determine unknown constants by considering the gradient and/or intercept.

易錯點：Use logarithms to solve equations and similiar inequalities

3、Trigonometry

重點：Understand the relationship of the secant,cosecant and cotangent functions to cosine,sine and tangent,and use properties and graphs of all six trigonometric functions for angles of any magnitude.Know the addition and double angle formulae for sine,cosine and tangent.

難點：Use trigonometrical identities for the simplification and exact evaluation of expressions and solving equations

易錯點：Know how to express asinθ bcosθ in the forms Rsin(θ )and Rcos(θ )

4、Differentiation

重點：Use the derivatives of e^x,lnx,sinx,cosx,tanx

難點：Differentiate products and quotients

易錯點：Find and use the first derivative of a function which is defined parametrically or implicitly
