用英語學英語口語：wage和salary表示“工資”的區别
我們下面用wage和salary做“英語口語”練習，不僅僅做用中文解釋清楚二者的區别。
在英語裡，當一個人為自己所付出的勞動獲得“報酬”時，這種報酬在英語裡有兩個不同的詞彙表示，一個叫salary，一個叫wage
這兩個詞很多人分不清，就好比外國人傻傻分不清中文“工資”，“薪水”，“收入”一樣。
我們首先可以這麼“說英語”：
Well,both wage and salary 都是一種pay, or an income, the money we earn for the job we do.
Well, both wage and salary are a pay, or an income, the money we earn for the job we do.
2) 現在輪到用用英語區别，順便練練口語：
很簡單的，記住并能說下面的英語就可以了：
What is wage and what is salary, you can tell the difference ?
1. Well, if your boss tells you your pay will be：
You'll be paid $45,000 per year, or about 4,000 a month.Then, that is our SALARY. We call this pay a salary. We are a salary earner.
2. Well, if your boss tells you your pay will be：
Well, you'll be paid by minimum(the lowest) $16.50 per hour, OR：
You will be earning $10 for doung one piece of work.
Then, that is your WAGE.We call this pay a wage, not a salary. We are a wage earner.
隻有wage才會說minimum wage(最低工資wage)的，沒有minimum salary一說。
見到wage和salary，不僅能用中文區别，還能用英語區别，能說英語，你的英語口語就有進步了。
