【英語語法：地點介詞】主要有at ,in, on, to, above, over, below, under, beside, behind , between。它們的用法具體如下：

1. at

（1）at通常指小地方：In the afternoon, he finally arrived at home. 到下午他終于到家了。

（2）at通常所指範圍不太明顯，表示“在……附近，旁邊”：The ball is at the corner. 球擱在角落裡。

2. in

（1）in通常指大地方：When I was young, I lived in Beijing.

（2）在内部：There is a ball in in the box.

（3）表示“在…範圍之内”（是從屬關系）：

Guangdong lies in the south of China.

3. on

（1）on主要指“在……之上”，強調和表面接觸：

There is a book on the table. 桌上有一本書。

（2）表示毗鄰，接壤（是相鄰關系）：

Canada lies on the north of America.

4. to：主要表示“在……範圍外”，強調不接壤，不相鄰。

Japan is to the east of China.

注意：

（1）at 強調“點”，on 強調“面”，in 強調“在裡面”，to表示“範圍外”。

（2）on the tree：表示樹上本身所長着的葉子、花、果實等

in the tree：表示某物或某人在樹上

on the wall： 表示在牆的表面，如圖畫、黑闆等

in the wall：表示在牆的内部中，如門窗、釘子、洞、孔

5. above：在……上方（并未強調是不是正上方），與below相對。如：

I live in a flat above the shop. 我住在那家商店上面的一套房子裡。

6. over：表示“在……正上方”，與under相對。

There is a big apple hanging over my head. 在我的頭頂上，懸挂着一個大蘋果。

7. behind：表示“在……後面”。

Behind the building stands a tall tree. 在這棟建築後面有棵樹。

8. between：在……之間（指兩者）。

The building stands between the park and the supermarket. 那棟建築位于公園和超市之間。
