考點一：可數名詞變複數規則變化

①一般情況-----詞尾 s（boy、toy、way、school、brother、tree、girl）

②以s、x、ch、sh、結尾-----詞尾 es（bus、watch、box、dish小菜，盤、inch英尺、）

③以輔音 y結尾-----詞尾變y為ies（lady、country、baby）

④以f、fe結尾-----詞尾變f/fe為ves（leaf、thief、wife、knife、shelf架子、half一半、life、wolf、loaf面包棒）

⑤以o結尾-----詞尾 s/ es（ es時：{黑人英雄看着火山聽着回聲吃着土豆西紅柿和芒果}Negro、hero、volcano火山、echo回聲、potato、tomato、mango s時：zoo、photo）

考點二：可數名詞變複數不規則變化

中間元音變化

①人man — men（woman - women、policeman - policemen、chairman - chairmen主席、Englishman - Englishmen英國人、Frenchman - Frenchmen法國人）

注：{中日瑞不變，英法荷變中間，其餘s加後面} Chinese、Japanese、Swiss瑞士、Englishman英、Frenchman法、Dutchman荷蘭、German - Germans德、Russian - Russians俄羅斯人

注： a woman teather — two women teathers 、 a girl friend — two girl friends

②oo — ee部位（foot - feet腳、tooth - teeth牙齒） 、動物（goose - geese鵝）

整體變化 單複同形

people、sheep、deer、fish、Chiness、Japanese、Swiss瑞士

注：a people 一個民族、a person 一個人、fishes魚的種類

成對出現的名詞

trousers褲子、glasses眼鏡、scissors剪子

特殊形式

en（child - children孩子、ox - oxen公牛）

其他（phenomenon - phenomena現象、crisis - crises危機、mouse - mice老鼠、criterion - criterta标準）
