【動詞 介詞to】短語中，稍不注意就把to誤用為不定式符号。高中英語3500詞中，有7個這樣的短語，它們是：

1. belong to 屬于，這個詞組一般也不用于被動結構，也沒有進行體用法

The house had belonged to her family for three or four generations. 這套房子歸她們家有三四代人了。

They belong to an older, more self-denying generation. 他們屬于更加克己的上一代人。

2. come to 共計，達到

How much do all these come to? 這些共計多少錢?

The sum came to 230 dollars. 金額共計230美元。

3. connect to 連接，相連（如果在connect後面加上一個賓語，connect則成為及物動詞）

Click ‘Continue’ to connect to the Internet.點擊 Continue 連接到互聯網。

First connect the printer to the computer. 首先把打印機與計算機接通。（及物動詞）

4. lead to 導緻，導向

Eating too much sugar can lead to health problems. 食用過多的糖會引起健康問題。

He warned yesterday that a pay rise for teachers would lead to job cuts. 他昨天警告說，給教師們加薪會導緻職位的裁減。

5. point to 指向

He pointed to the spot where the house used to stand.他指出那所房子原來所在的地方。

An arrow pointed to the toilets. 箭頭指向衛生間。

6. write to 寫信給……

She wrote to him in France. 她給他往法國寫信。

值得注意的是，write後可以接用動詞不定式，這時，不定式表示目的。例如：

I'm writing to enquire about language courses. 特此緻函詢問有關語言課程事宜。

7. stick to 堅持

Stick to your principles, and you will win through. 堅持你的原則，就會勝利。

Stick to it and you'll make it. 堅持下去，就會成功。
