一般情況下discussion部分寫作總是遵循下面的一般原則。

1、 首先對研究報告進行簡短的概述（在包含多個相關研究時這點顯得特别重要）。

2、 描述本研究結果與過去已報道的研究文獻的關系，例如：

a. 你的研究結果是否與現有文獻相一緻？

b. 你的結果如何填補現有文獻的空缺？

3、 闡明本研究結果與相關理論的關系。

4、 描述和讨論你的研究所存在的不足或局限性。目的是預測Tutor可能提出什麼問題并在他們提出之前給予回答。

5、 提出本研究在實際情況中的應用，即其存在的意義和應用價值。

6、 最後根據研究結果，提出有關未來研究的建議。

How to write a Discussion

The typical flow for the discussion section is as listed below

- A brief synopsis of the research reported (particularly important when several related studies are included).

- Connections to existing empirical research: (a) How do your results fit with existing literature? (b) How the your results fill a gap in the existing literature?

- Connections to relevant theory.

- Deion and discussion of potential limitations, or constraints, on the interpretation of your results. The aim here is to anticipate reviewer or editor objections and provide answers to them, before they are raised.

- Possible applications of the results in practical situations.

- Suggestions for future research, building on your results.
