-ED Adjectives：

◆ Simply put, -ED Adjectives are used to describe feelings and emotions of a person

◆ to talk about people and sometimes animals

通常用來形容人，偶爾也可以用來形容動物

★Andy was tired after the long drive.

★He felt so annoyed that his friend let him down.

-ING Adjectives

◆ to basically describe how something makes someone feel

通常用來描述某事讓某人産生某種感受或情緒

◆ to basically describe any noun, including people, animals, things, situations, places, or ideas

基本可以用來形容所有名詞，包括人、動物、事物、情況、地點或想法等等

★The new movie is really boring.

★這部新電影很乏味。

★His speech was really interesting.

★他的演講真有趣。

★I’m bored because I’m watching a boring movie.

★我感到無聊，因為我正在看一部無聊的電影。

★This film is frightening, so I feel frightened.

★這部電影很恐怖，我感到害怕。

★I’m annoyed because the fly is annoying.

★我很生氣，因為這個蒼蠅很讨厭。

If you’re talking about a temporary feeling or an emotion, then use -ED Adjectives; and if you’re talking about a permanent quality of a person, then use -ING Adjectives.

如果形容某人某種短暫的感受或情緒，使用-ED形容詞；如果形容某人某種特定的品質，使用-ING形容詞。

★He is so bored.

★他很無聊。

★He is boring.

★I'm exhausted!

★I find her exhausting, for she never stops talking.
