獅子與農夫（Lion and farmer）

有隻獅子闖到農夫家的畜圈裡，農夫想要捉住他，馬上把院子的大門緊緊關上了。獅子因跑不出去，便先咬死了一些羊，随後又朝那些牛沖去。農夫害怕自身難保，便将門打開，讓獅子出去。獅子逃走之後，妻子對悲歎不已的丈夫說:“你活該!人們都遠離可怕的獅子，你為什麼還要把他關起來呢?"

寓意：去激怒比自己更強大的人，必然會自讨苦吃。

獅子和熊同時抓到了一隻小羊羔,他們倆為争奪小羊羔兇狠地打了起來。經過―場苦鬥﹐雙方都受了重傷，有氣無力地躺在地上。一隻狐狸早已躲在遠處觀望着,一見他們倆都直挺挺地躺在地上虛弱地一動不動,他便溜過去抓起羊羔，一溜煙地跑掉了。獅子和熊眼睜睜地看着狐狸搶走了小羊羔﹐卻也毫無辦法﹐隻能唉聲歎氣地說“我們倆鬥得兩敗俱傷﹐卻讓狐狸得到了好處!”

寓意：鹬蚌相争漁翁得利。
