考點一、should 的用法

(1)should 情态動詞 "應該、應當，可能"， 多用于向對方提出、征詢建議或表達一種預期，should = be supposed to do。should 沒有人稱、數和時态的變化。

You should get up early and do sports in the morning. 你應當早上早點起床做運動。

Children should help their parents with the housework. 孩子們應該幫助父母做家務。

(2) 疑問句和否定句

Should we shake hands or bowl when we meet for the first time?

我們首次見面時握手還是鞠躬？

What should I do for his birthday? 我應該為他的生日做什麼？

You shouldn't be angry with him. 你不應該生他的氣。

考點二、spend 的用法

(1) spend 動詞 "花費(時間或金錢）"，spend的主語必須是"人"。

過去式和過去分詞 spent / spent

① spend…on 在……上花費(時間或金錢)

My father spends much time on volunteer work.

我父親花費很多時間從事志願者工作。

How much did you spend on this book? 這本書你花了多少錢？

② spend… (in) doing 花費……做某事

Don't spend too much time (in) playing computer games.

不要花費太多時間玩電腦遊戲。

He spends lots of money (in) collecting stamps.

他在集郵方面花費了很多錢。

(2) spend 和 cost、pay、take 的辨析

主要從三個方面區别這四個動詞：動詞的主語；動詞的賓語；具體結構。

① spend 過去式和過去分詞 spent / spent, 主語是"人"，賓語是"時間、金錢"， 結構 spend…on…和 spend…(in) doing sth.

② cost 過去式和過去分詞 cost / cost，主語是"物"，賓語是"錢 、人"，

結構：sth. cost (人) 錢。 "某物花費某人多少錢"

This book cost me 50 yuan. 這本書花了我50 元錢。

How much did the car cost him? 這輛車花了他多少錢？

③ pay 過去式和過去分詞 paid / paid, 主語是"人"， 賓語是"錢"，

結構：人 pay 錢 for 物。"某人花錢買某物"

Tom paid 100 dollars for this pair of shoes.

湯姆花100美元買了這雙鞋子。

How much did he pay for the digital camera?

他花多少錢買了這部數碼相機？

④ take 過去式和過去分詞 took / taken，主語通常為形式主語"it"或"物 / 事"，賓語是"時間"

結構：it take (有時态變化） 人 時間 to do

或 某物 / 事 take(有時态變化) 人 時間。

"某人花費多長時間做某事"

It takes me 2 hours to finish my homework every day. 我每天花兩個小時完成作業。

How long did it take you to ride to that village yesterday?

昨天你花了多長時間騎車去那個村子？

Driving to that village took me two hours.

駕車去那個村子花了我兩個小時。

④ take 過去式和過去分詞 took / taken，主語通常為形式主語"it"或"物 / 事"，賓語是"時間"

結構：it take (有時态變化） 人 時間 to do

或 某物 / 事 take(有時态變化) 人 時間。
