南京傳媒學院（Communication University of China, Nanjing），前身為中國傳媒大學南廣學院，簡稱“南廣”、“南傳”，是由中國傳媒大學申報，經教育部批準，以獨立法人新型辦學模式在江蘇省南京市設立的省屬本科高校。學校是江蘇省唯一一所傳媒藝術類應用型大學，中國培養廣播影視及其他傳媒藝術類人才主要基地之一，多年來為中央和各級各類傳媒及影視等藝術領域培養了大批專業人才，被譽為“中國傳媒藝術重鎮”。

學校創辦于2004年9月16日，由中國傳媒大學與華夏視聽傳媒集團共同舉辦，中國傳媒大學原校長、名譽校長劉繼南任創辦人及首任校長。學校董事會堅持公益辦學、回報社會的初心宗旨，期冀将南傳辦成一流的傳媒大學、具有國際影響力的百年名校。

2020年4月19日，中國傳媒大學南廣學院發布《南京傳媒學院公告》，學校轉設升格為南京傳媒學院，并宣布啟用新校名，原中國傳媒大學南廣學院的權利義務全部由南京傳媒學院承接。

Nanjing University of Communication (Nanjing), formerly known as Nanguang College of Communication University of China (hereinafter referred to as "Nanguang" or "Nanchuan"), was declared by Communication University of China and approved by the Ministry of Education of China. It is a provincial undergraduate university established in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province under the new mode of independent legal person. The university is the only applied university of media art in Jiangsu Province. It is one of the main bases for training talents in radio, film and other media arts in China. Over the years, it has trained a large number of professional talents in the fields of media, film and television at all levels and at all levels for the central government, and is honored as the "Key Town of Media Art in China".

The university was founded on September 16, 2004, jointly organized by Communication University of China and Huaxia Media Group. Liu Jinan, former president and honorary president of Communication University of China, was the founder and the first president. The Board of Trustees adheres to the original tenet of running a school for public benefit and giving back to the society, and hopes to build Nanchuan into a first-class university of media and a century-old university with international influence.

On April 19, 2020, Nanguang College of Communication University of China (CUC) issued Announement of Nanjing University of Media and Communications, upgrading the school to Nanjing University of Media and Communications, and announcing the use of a new name. All rights and obligations of the former Nanguang College of Communication University of China (CUC) will be undertaken by Nanjing University of Media and Communications.
