a lot, a lot of 和 lots of的用法

a lot “很多；非常”，表示程度，後面不接名詞。

a lot of 和 lots of 都意為“許多、大量”，二者可以互換，用法相同，既可以修飾可數名詞複數，也可以修飾不可數名詞。

從詞性上來說：

a lot相當于副詞，約等于very much或very或so much

She loves him a lot.

Houses are a lot more expensive here.

You helped me a lot.

a lot of 和 lots of 都相當于量詞一百或限定詞many
