1. 一般疑問句

(1)含be動詞的一般疑問句的結構為＂Be (Am, Is, Are)＋主語＋其他? ＂am, is或are的首字母要大寫。注意：當把含有be動詞的肯定句變為一般疑問句時，通常将I變為you，be動詞也要相應地變為are；同樣，肯定句中的形容詞性物主代詞my，變一般疑問句時要改為your。

►I am a teacher.我是老師。→Are you a teacher? 你是老師嗎？

►This is my book.這是我的書。→Is this your book? 這是你的書嗎？

(2)一般疑問句分别用Yes或No作肯定或否定回答。肯定回答：Yes, 主語＋be (am, is, are).。 否定回答：No, 主語＋be (am, is, are)not.。在簡略的答語中，主語要由人稱代詞的主格充當。

►—Is he Mike? 他是邁克嗎？

—Yes, he is./No, he isn’t. 是的，他是。/不，他不是。(答語中的he不能用Mike)。

Is this/that…? 結構的一般疑問句的答語要用Yes, it is.或No, it isn’t.。另外，Are these/those…?結構的一般疑問句的答語要用Yes, they are.或No, they aren’t.。

2. 特殊疑問句

含be動詞的特殊疑問句的常見結構為＂疑問詞＋be＋主語＋其他?＂或＂疑問詞＋be＋其他?＂在把一個陳述句變特殊疑問句時，先将句子變為一般疑問句，然後在一般疑問句前加上适當的疑問詞(what,who, how, what color等)。

特殊疑問句根據句意和實際情況作出回答，不用Yes或No。
