讓步狀語從句
1） though, although, even if/ though引導的讓步狀語從句
Although he is a socialist, Mr. Wells is scarcely in sympathy with the working class盡管威爾斯先生是一個社會主義者, 但是他對工人階級幾乎毫不同情。
a. as引導的讓步狀語從句必須倒裝, 如果動詞或現在分詞提前放在句首, 謂語加助動詞do/does/did,will等，如：
Fail as he did. he would never give u盡管失敗了,但他從未放棄。
b.做表語用的單數可數名詞放在句首時，該名詞前不可加冠詞，如：
Child as he is, he knows much about the society.他雖然是個孩子,但對社會卻很了解
c.as從句的主語是代詞時,主謂無需倒裝;如果主語是名詞,則要倒裝,如：
Diffcult as it was, they finished it in time.盡管很難,他們還是按時完成了。
Difficult as was the work, they finished it in time.盡管選項工作很難,他們還是按時完成了。
3) while引導的讓步狀語從句
while表示"盡管,雖然"時,可以引導讓步狀語從句,這時 while表達并列的轉折,即主句與從句間的動作是在同一時間發生的。while引導的從句通常放在主句之前,例如：
While I felt sympathy for her, I could not do much to help.盡管我很同情她,但是我卻幫不上什麼忙
4) no matter how與 however引導的讓步狀語從句
no matter與疑問詞 what, when, where, how等連用,或上述疑問詞加ever,都可以引導讓步狀語從句,兩者基本可以互換，如：
No matter how/ However sly a fox may be, it is no match for a good hunter狐狸再狡猾也敵不過好獵手
