這組詞都可表示“一套房間”。其區别在于:

• flat 指比較簡樸的住宅,通常占有不大或不很講究的樓内某一層,多用于英式英語中。

  I can't afford to buy the flat. 我買不起這套房子。

  The landlord says he'll let you aflat. 房東說他可以租給你一套公寓。
