考點、常用詞worth的用法

worth 形容詞，意為"值得；有……的價值(的)", 接在系動詞後作表語。

1. be worth sth. 表示"……值……(錢)；……值得……；……與……等價"

The big house is worth millions of dollars.

這所大房子值數百萬美元。

This restaurant is well worth a visit.這家飯店很值得光顧.

An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening.

(諺語)一日之計在于晨。

It is worth the trouble if you want to understand another culture.

2. be worth doing (某事)值得被做。動名詞doing習慣上用主動形式表示被動意義，且句子主語往往是其後動名詞的邏輯賓語，若其中的動詞不及物，須加上适當的介詞。

3.為了加強語氣，可在worth前使用well, really等修飾語，表示很值得、确實值得。
