時值四月，風和日麗，泡桐花開。4月15日，記者獲悉，電影《我的父親焦裕祿》劇組來到蘭考，前往焦桐，進行電影外景拍攝。

四月中旬，在焦裕祿幹部學院對面的泡桐樹林，淡紫色桐花齊放，花香飄然。趁着每年一次的花期，劇組人員早早來到焦桐樹下，拍攝桐花最美的瞬間。

在現場，該片藝術顧問、電影同名書作者，焦裕祿二女兒焦守雲表示，在春天來到這裡，看到父親當年栽種的泡桐樹花開滿枝，心中百感交集。她告訴記者，此次劇組将在蘭考進行3天的外景拍攝，用鏡頭記錄春日裡充滿活力的新蘭考。

據了解，電影《我的父親焦裕祿》是根據焦守雲口述回憶錄創作，由高滿堂、李唯擔任編劇，楊亞洲執導。該片将從全新的角度、運用整理的新史料、通過更多細節，更加真實全面展現焦裕祿對黨、群衆、家人、戰友、同事和朋友的種種感情，塑造全新焦裕祿熒幕形象，展現他42歲短暫卻又光輝的一生。該片也是目前對焦書記人生描述較為詳細的大熒幕作品。
