做女人意味要沉默

做女人意味變黑的勞苦和悲傷

它表示承載一個世界的苦難

在我的國家，女人指被遺忘的一代人

女人指洗衣、做飯和照顧孩子們

撫養他們，建造一座傷痛大山

在這個世界角落

我們的容顔因苦難而破碎

我們感到羞愧并隐藏傷疤

繪畫他們化妝成一顆心

在這兒，我是誰

把恐懼截住她喉嚨裡的女人

總是關心他人的人

自己卻得不到回賜

飽經痛苦的女人仍要保持沉默

被折磨的女人卻不能呐喊

這裡是阿富汗

在我們之間有靜止的聲音

說真話更恐怖

意味着死亡、割鼻、燙耳

最後——會活埋

所以，我隻能選擇沉默

所以，我隻能選擇忍受

成為一個什麼都不是的我告知那是我

Being a woman means to be silent.

Being a woman means pain and sorrow of blackening.

It means to carry a world of misery.

In my country, woman meansa forgettable generation.

Woman means,washing, cooking, taking care of the children.

Growing them, to build a mountain of pain.

In this corner of the worldour faces are broken with misery.

We are made ashamed to conceal our scars,

painting them with makeupto form a single heart.

Who am I here?

The woman who catches her dear in her throat.

Who always cares for others,but to whom this care is rarely returned.

The woman who is in pain, but remains silent.

The woman who is tortured, but doesn’t raise her voice.

Here is Afghanistan.

There are dormant sounds between us.

Speaking the truthmeans death, misery; cut noses, burning ears.

And finally—to be buried alive.

So,my only choice is silence.

So,my only choice is to endure, and be the nothing I am told that I am.
