我們可以用“......years old”來回答。

但是，

有時候，老外會用“I was today years old”,

這是什麼意思呢？

是指：

有些東西别人很早就知道了，

但我卻是在今天才知道，

相當于“I know it today”

02.“jam tomorrow”是什麼意思？

“jam tomorrow”

許諾但永不兌現的東西

可望不可及的事物

這個表達來源于一個叫做“Through the Looking Glass”的兒童故事，有一位“紅皇後”說：“The rule is jam tomorrow and jam yesterday，but never jam today”，

意思是明天有果醬，昨天有果醬，但今天永遠不會有果醬，

意味着你永遠都無法享用到果醬。

因此，jam tomorrow意思是許諾但永不兌現的東西，可望而不可及的事物。

比如

They refused to settle for a promise of jam tomorrow.

他們并不滿足于那些美好未來的空話。

To get promoted by the end of the year is only jam tomorrow for him.

年底升職對他來說隻不過是兌現不了的許諾。

03.“like there's no tomorrow”是什麼意思？

“like there's no tomorrow”

字面意思是：好像沒有明天一樣

不為未來考慮， 毫不節制

今朝有酒今朝醉

比如

She spends money like there’s no tomorrow.

她毫無節制的花錢

Mary, on the other hand, spends our project money like there’s no tomorrow.

從另一方面講，瑪麗花我們的項目經費時根本不做長遠打算。
