Peng has painted for over a decade. She has done research on Beijing and Sichuan Opera makeup, as well as Shanxi Ladle and Tibetan facial makeup, and constantly incorporates some of these painting elements in her designs.
彭芳從事繪畫藝術十多年了,她喜歡研究京劇臉譜、川劇臉譜、陝西馬勺以及藏式臉譜等,并運用到一些設計作品當中。

The painting process involves many steps, including preparing a white mask, positioning, sketching, base painting, the main painting, modification, adjustments and polishing.

As part of the new generation of intangible culture inheritors, Peng’s creation combines tradition and innovation. She paints facial makeup on unconventional objects like oyster shells, and she also creatively applies Cantonese Opera painting styles to design mascots such as “Shenshen” and “Zhenzhen,” which feature several other Shenzhen elements.
作為非遺新一代,彭芳将傳統與創新相結合,别出心裁地将臉譜繪畫到生蚝等物品上。她創作的臉譜吉祥物“深深和圳圳”,采用傳統粵劇臉譜文化的特色手法,創造性地結合了多個深圳元素設計而成。
